Anita was born and raised in Summerfield, North Carolina.
 
Growing up in the country with plenty of places to investigate, she spent countless hours day-dreaming with her imaginary friends and her dog, Peanut.
 
Her love affair with books became an outlet for all those imaginary friends. 
She now resides in Reading, England, with her husband, Michael and their three children. (And all her favourite books.)
